Manchester United have scored twice in the last three minutes to intensify the plight of Premier League champions Manchester City after a 2-1 win at the Etihad.
City have now won just once in their last 11 games, a run that includes eight defeats. Josko Gvardiol headed in the 1st goal of the game in the first half to give Pep Guardiola the lead. But United have only restored Ruben Amorim’s second win in five league games since taking over last month.
A penalty scored by Bruno Fernandes tied the game before Amad Diallo scored the winning goal in the last minute of regular time. The defeat leaves City still in fifth place, nine points behind the leading team Liverpool, who are in control of the match. United came in 12th place and are five points away from their hometown team.
